Haagen-Dazs Petite mooncake...YUMMY

While shopping in and around MidValley Megamall, I went and try out the Haagen Dazs latest ice-cream mooncake collection with my other half. We tried the Coffee and Strawberry Petite Mooncake which was heavenly. Each mooncake cost RM25 (with 10% service tax & 5% govt tax). Total bill came up to RM57.50. I was not allowed to utilise my usual 20% discount from Super Privilege Card. How sad.... :(

If you purchase a set of four pieces, then I get a measly 5% discount from the list pice of RM88 (for Petite) / RM118 (for Classic). Difference between them : Classic is the bigger than Petite..DUH !!! Also the inside has different ice-cream flavours.

Nintendo Revolution in June 2006

Gizmodo : Amazon.com France has slipped a page with the European release date and price for Nintendo's monolithic new game console, the Revolution. The release date is listed as June 15, 2006. The total, after conversion, would be about $365. European console prices tend to be a bit higher than here in the U.S., but this still sounds like a fool's ransom given the Xbox 360's $299-$399 pricetag. (Remember that Nintendo says its console will be less technologically advanced and thus cheaper than the Xbox 360 or PS3). Based on the GameCube's 2001 launch cycle, it arrived in Europe six months after it debuted in N.A. This leak gives credence to rumors that the Revolution could see a surprise 2005 launch. Najib Razak's stepson Riza Aziz granted discharge over US$248m money laundering charges

Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s stepson Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz was today released from five counts of money-laundering over US$248 million allegedly misappropriated from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) after he agreed to pay several million ringgit to the Malaysian government, a report has said. News portal Free Malaysia Today said Sessions Court judge Azman Ahmad today granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) to Riza after an application was made by the prosecution for the order to be made. Ad-hoc prosecutor Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram, who was leading the prosecution, was reported to have read out from a written statement when asking for the DNAA. -Malay Mail
